1. Who we are
This website (blokgrip.com) is operated by BLOKGRIP, a French limited liability company (SARL) with a share capital of 2,000 €, registered with the Épinal Trade and Companies Register under SIREN 989 114 210, with its registered office at 23 route de Raon, 88200 Saint-Nabord, France.
BlokGrip designs and manufactures 3D climbing holds, macros and volumes for bouldering gyms and route setters. For any question about this policy or your personal data, contact us at contact@blokgrip.com.
We are the “data controller” for the processing described below, within the meaning of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act.
2. What data we collect and why
We only collect data that we actually need. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

3. Cookies and similar technologies
A cookie is a small file placed on your device when you visit a website. We use the following categories:
Strictly necessary
A small number of technical cookies are required for the site to work and stay secure (WordPress session and security). These do not require your consent.
This website is a product catalogue: there is no online payment, no shopping cart, no checkout and no customer account. We therefore do not collect payment data, and we never see your bank details.
Audience measurement and attribution
We use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how visitors use the site (cookies _ga and _ga_*). Traffic-attribution cookies (sbjs_*) record which source brought you to the site. We also use our own in-house measurement tool hosted at tools.blokcorp.fr.
You can block or delete these cookies at any time in your browser settings, and you can install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. You may also object by writing to contact@blokgrip.com. Refusing them does not prevent you from using the site.
4. Who has access to your data
Your data is accessible to authorised BlokGrip staff, and to the service providers who help us run the site and our business. These providers act on our instructions:
- Hostinger International Ltd (Larnaca, Cyprus) — website hosting
- Google Ireland Limited — audience measurement (Google Analytics) and the order form hosted on Google Sheets / Google Drive
- Blokcorp — our in-house audience measurement tool
- Our distributors, where your enquiry concerns their territory and you asked to be put in touch
We may also disclose data where required by law or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
5. Transfers outside the European Union
Some of our providers, in particular Google, may process data outside the European Union. Such transfers are covered by the European Commission’s adequacy decision for the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or by Standard Contractual Clauses, together with additional safeguards.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to: access your data; have it corrected; have it erased; restrict or object to its processing; receive it in a portable format; withdraw your consent at any time; and define instructions on what happens to your data after your death.
To exercise these rights, write to contact@blokgrip.com. We may ask you to confirm your identity. We will reply within one month.
If you believe your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL — 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, www.cnil.fr.
7. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No system is perfectly secure, but we take this seriously and keep our measures under review.
8. Children
This site is aimed at climbing gyms and professionals. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or in the law. The date at the top of this page always shows the latest version.
